The Pitch Stabilization System is a stand alone pitch axis control system providing vertical speed control for climbs and descents, altitude hold mode, glide slope capture and track, and pitch trim indicator lights. This system is often used to provide autopilot pitch axis functions in conjunction with an independent roll axis autopilot from another manufacturer. Options include ST-360 Altitude Selector / Alerter and Autotrim. Autotrim is not available on some aircraft models; check STC list for approvals.
